the sun flat

the building has a modular, segmented form with several seemingly connected volumes. roofline is irregular, with an alternation of flat and gently sloping roofs, giving the structure a dynamic silhouette. the shape is reminiscent of an undulating ribbon running through the landscape. a concrete facade gives the building a modern, industrial character. large glass surfaces with colored glass (blue, turquoise, violet) structure the facade and create visual accents while simultaneously allowing natural light into the interior. the window facade is horizontally aligned and rhythmically structured along the entire length of the building. the use of tinted glass creates an interesting play of light, color, and reflection that changes with the daylight, embedded in a natural landscape, with scattered trees and wild plants.
