the design focuses on clear geometry, solid materials, and a close interplay between architecture and vegetation. the villa consists of several staggered cubic volumes grouped around a central courtyard. rather than a single compact volume, the result is a composition of various pavilions, pathways, and terraces. this gives the building a sense of articulation and human scale, despite its size.
the architecture relies entirely on rectangular volumes with sharp, clean edges. t
long wall and roof planes create a calm, almost sculptural appearance.
the upper floor sits atop the lower volumes as a distinct structure, creating striking cantilevered sections. exposed concrete is the defining material.
lthe raw concrete is deliberately left unconcealed, serving instead as a high-quality design element. this lends the building a powerful, timeless quality.
from a bird's-eye view, the roofs appear almost like an extension of the garden.
these contrasts create tension between openness and privacy. the glass surfaces open the living areas to the garden, while the solid concrete walls offer protection and intimacy.
