this structure is a minimalist viewing platform with an architectural design that deliberately interacts with the spectacular landscape.

the platform appears to hover over the edge of a crater lake, creating the sensation of stepping directly out into the landscape. rather than competing with its surroundings, the architecture frames and highlights views of the crater and the horizon. the design is based on simple forms—a long walkway, a circular platform, and a central cylinder. This geometric clarity contrasts with the irregular, volcanic landscape.
