the development is evolving from a functional housing complex into a vibrant residential quarter featuring diverse spaces for social interaction, a high-quality living environment, and long-term flexibility of use. approximately two-thirds of the existing buildings will be retained and comprehensively refurbished. the remaining third will be replaced by one or more new buildings that clearly define the edge of the development and reframe the open space. in terms of height and scale, the new buildings align with the existing neighborhood while establishing a distinctive character through contemporary architectural design. careful positioning creates new plaza-like areas, sheltered green spaces, and attractive pedestrian connections within the development. densification is achieved not by maximizing buildable area, but through the precise supplementation of the existing stock. as a result, the development will grow from its current 52 units to approximately 75 apartments, providing housing for around 180 residents.
